Susan Cogan is an accomplished singer, multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and passionate entertainer. Her career spans four decades and two continents singing in Hebrew as well as English. Her original songs inspire the core of our shared humanity fusing elements of seemingly diverse styles into earthy yet sophisticated, soulful music.  “The Fields of Friendship”, a collection of 15 new songs is her latest and arguably her best in a string of fine folk-fusion recordings. Two years in the making, this labour of love brought Susan from her home on Salt Spring Island BC back to Toronto where she was born and raised to record with dear old friends and favored musicians.


“The Weeds” was their high school name. The Fields of Friendship has brought together three old friends from three different cities. Musicians at the top of their games, Toronto’s David Woodhead, Bobby Cohen in Montreal & Michael Rosen in L.A. began their professional careers in Montreal in the 60's. They had not played together since high school ...until now!  More friends in "The Fields of Friendship” - Anne Lindsay on violin, singers Tara MacLean & Brent Titcomb and we’re not sure just how many more friends will show up.
